Welcome to Select Import Motors!  My name is George Loizou and in 1983 I started Select Imports, also known as “The Adult Toy Store” specializing in affordable import luxury vehicles.  My passion for vehicles started when I was 15 years old and stayed with me into my professional life.  As a Business and Marketing major at Old Dominion University, I knew that my degree would be best put to use in the automotive industry. 

In 1983, after graduating from Old Dominion University, I opened the doors to Select Imports “The Adult Toy Store”. After 26 years and 36,000 satisfied customers we’re still going strong with plans to open another location in 2010 to better serve you.  We are currently located at 5048 Virginia Beach Blvd (Virginia Beach Blvd and Witchduck Road).

With our late model vehicles, extras like GPS units, in dash cameras and flat screen television technology, we’re making our premium luxury brands truly stand alone inventory show pieces.  As manufacturers expanded luxury lines, I knew I wanted to focus on the highest premium brands of import cars and  SUV’s.

 In 2010, I am making plans to open a second location, so I can expand the selection, and to better serve you, the new location will be located at 5073 Virginia Beach Blvd, almost across from our current sales location. .

Connecting people with the car of their dreams and with a budget that they could afford has been the focus of my career. We are delivering on that with several financing options including bank financing on location and Buy-Here-Pay-Here with Global Loans.  We are also leading that category by helping people obtain the car of their dreams with our “RentToOwn” payment option.  No other dealer in our region offers this type of in-house financing.

After paying attention to my customers needs, I established the Rent to Own program. This unique program offers luxury vehicles to my customers whether they have bad credit or bankruptcy, and we offer on the spot credit approval.

I am a hands-on owner and personally buy and inspect every one of my vehicles.  My passion for luxury vehicles is stronger than ever, and I truly love coming to work and seeing new customers find the vehicle of their dreams
